Product Overview

Laminar flow is distinguished by liquid particles flowing in smooth paths in layers, with each layer moving evenly past the adjacent layers without getting mixed at all. At lower velocities, the fluid tends to flow with or little lateral mixing, and the adjacent layers of the fluid slide past one another in an effort-
less motion.

How it Operates

The cabinet is generally made of stainless steel with no gaps or joints where spores might get composed. Air is drawn through a HEPA filter and blown in a very smooth, laminar flow towards the user. Due to the direction of airflow, the sample is protected from the user but the user is not protected from the sample.
